About the Blazers: St. Benedict fell 69-63 at home to Concordia Wednesday despite a career-best 29 points for senior wing Brianna Barrett. The Blazers shot just 9-for-33 from the field in the second half. St. Benedict slipped into seventh place in the conference standings with the loss.
“It seems like we were rushing things,” senior wing Tish Alexander said. “We weren’t playing our game or being patient enough with our shots.”
Senior forward Morgan Dale continues to lead the MIAC in rebounding with an average of 11.3 per game. Barrett ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with an average of 15.1 points per game.

About the Knights: Carleton has lost five straight games — including a 51-48 setback at the hands of Augsburg Wednesday. Junior forward Skylar Tsutsui led the way with 14 points.
She ranks second in the MIAC in scoring with an average of 17.4 points per game. After being outrebounded four games in a row, the Knights did hold a 34-30 edge over the Auggies on the boards. Carleton’s last victory was an 82-72 nonconference win over Coe (Iowa) on Dec. 14.
