Flying with kids? Check out free Wii at 6 airports

Sometimes, a marketing ploy is actually a godsend.

If you’re traveling with kids this month and flying through Dallas’s Love Field, Atlanta, Denver, Tampa Bay, St. Louis and delay-prone Chicago Midway, this is one of those times.

Southwest Airlines and Nintendo are joining forces to offer Wii U gaming lounges where travelers can play “Super Mario 3-D World” and other games for free.

Kiosks can accommodate up to four players at a time; each gaming lounge will have several kiosks. The lounges are supposed to be open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. through Dec. 22.

Best of all? No time limits for playing – just keep an eye on your boarding time.
