Greetings from Sexton Arena

Good evening from Sexton Arena in Collegeville where St. John’s (2-4 MIAC, 3-8 overall) is hoping to get back on track when it plays host to Concordia in MIAC men’s hoops.

The Johnnies have lost three straight and five of their past seven games. And the going does not get easier tonight. The Cobbers (5-2, 8-4) sit in third place in the MIAC standings and are led by senior guard Ebo Nana-Kweson, who is averaging 15.6 points per game.

It’s game two of a three-game stretch that pits St. John’s against the three top teams in the league (Augsburg, Concordia and St. Thomas). Junior Seth Marx leads the Johnnies with an average of 11.5 points per game.

St. Benedict, meanwhile, is on the road at Concordia in Moorhead tonight.

I will have updates here at halftime and afterward. In the meantime, you can also follow along via Twitter at @rajko1973.
