Hip-Hop Against Homophobia has been moved

The weather has forced the Hip-Hop Against Homophobia show to be moved inside to the Atwood Center Ballroom. It’s still from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, with doors open at 4:30 p.m.

KVSC 88.1 and the LGBT Resource Center at St. Cloud State University teamed up to host the event. It’s part of a series of concerts that have taken place in Minneapolis since 2009 and now extends into Central Minnesota. Series co-founder Kyle “Guante” Tran Myhre is a two-time National Poetry Slam champion, social justice activist, writer and educator.

Artists include: Toki Wright, Guante, Big Cats, See More Perspective, Heidi Barton Stink and Kaoz. All are identified as LGBTQ or straight allies.
