It’s official: It’s No. 1 BBE vs. No. 1 Melrose tonight

The state polls confirmed what many suspected. When Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa plays tonight at Melrose in boys basketball, it will pair two No. 1s. BBE is 17-0, ranked No. 1 in Class A, and has won 50 straight games. Melrose is 15-1, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A, and very good, led by St. Cloud State recruit Scottie Stone.
