NO. 5 NORTH DAKOTA (8-5-4 WCHA, 13-8-4 OVERALL)

North Dakota is tied for No. 12 in the PairWise Rankings. Lots of changes in the North Dakota lineup vs. Friday night. Forwards Derek Rodwell, Brendan O’Donnell, Mitch MacMillan and Coltyn Sanderson, defenseman Andrew Panzarella and goalie Zane Gothberg are all scratches after playing last night. North Dakota rotated three players on the left wing of the line that is centered by Corban Knight last night. Rocco Grimaldi was on that line in the second period and will be on that line to start tonight’s game with Danny Kristo on the other wing. The line of Mark MacMillan, Carter Rowney and Michael Parks started last night together and is reunited.  Stephane Pattyn will center a line with Dan Senkbeil and Colten St. Clair on the wings. St. Clair was the center on the fourth line last night. Left wing Bryn Chzyk and center Connor Gaarder, who were scratches last night, are on the fourth line with Drake Caggiula on the other wing.

On defense, Andrew MacWilliam and Dillon Simpson are paired together. MacWilliam was paired with Joe Gleason; Simpson was paired with Panzarella last night. Gleason is paired with Nick Mattson, who was a scratch last night.

And finally, Clarke Saunders starts in goal after being the back-up last night.

About Mick Hatten

I cover St. Cloud State hockey and I am a general assignment reporter for the sports department at the Times. 2012-13 was my third season covering the Huskies hockey programs. My wife Kristin and I have two boys (Luke, 5, and Josh, 3) and we live in St. Cloud. I have had two stints working at the Times. I worked here from 1986-91 as a part-time sports reporter and intern. I have been back since Aug. 1999. I spent one year as the prep sports coordinator, six years as the St. Cloud State reporter (football, men's and women's basketball and everything else but hockey) and spent four years as the Citizen Times editor. The last two years, I was also the editor of the Rocori Times and Sauk Rapids-Rice Times sections, which are mailed directly to people in those two school districts. Follow me on Twitter at https://twitter.com/MickHatten or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/sctimesmick. I do online chats about college hockey during the season from 1-2 p.m. Thursdays at www.sctimes.com.
