Minneapolis pop-rock band releases single featuring same-sex couples

Minneapolis pop-rock band War Poets released a single last week featuring two same-sex couples.

“These couples are in love, just like people in other relationships,” front man and songwriter Rex Haberman in a news release. “They want to get married. It’s a portrayal of what they go through to make that happen.”

The release comes just months before Minnesotans will head to the polls to vote on a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman.
