Rockstar Bob will perform Friday at Benton Station

Singer and performer Rockstar Bob of Hairball, a band that’s a celebration of arena rock, will perform at Benton Station this Friday, after a run in with a sword at a show this past weekend. A stunt in which he he spits fire and throws down a flaming sword went wrong, according to a news release. He missed the box and instead stabbed himself in the foot.

The sword missed the bone but he did receive stitches at a hospital in Eau Claire. He missed the rest of the show Friday and a show on Saturday. But he reassured his public relations company that he will be back performing as Alice Cooper, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Bon Jovi, Brian Johnson and Brett Michaels at Benton Station for the Firemens Dance Tent Party at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are $20.
