Sartell Sabres get shoutout from hardcore band with local ties

For All Those Sleeping gives a shout out to the Sartell Sabres with a new music video for “Mark My Words.”

The hardcore pop-punk group has ties to Central Minnesota.

In it, a hardcore fan claims to remember their first show, 14 years ago at a Sartell school talent show, complete with hula-hooping little girl and thick Minnesota accent.

The mood in the school auditorium quickly shifts as the supposed fourth-graders scream their way into the song’s intro.

Inevitably, the kids get into it. To watch the video, visit www.vevo.com/watch/for-all-those-sleeping/mark-my-words/US5271216303.

Their latest album, “Outspoken,” was released last June and is available on iTunes. For more, visit www.forallthosesleeping.com.

Hat tip to Adam Hammer, current St. Cloud State director of media relations and publications and and former Times staffer for the tip.
