LeBlanc got the puck in the neutral zone, skated it into the corner and passed it to Dowd out front. Dowd quickly passed across the slot to Hanowski, who knocked it in for a 1-0 lead.
2. SCSU — Hanowski 3 (LeBlanc) 14:48.
LeBlanc hit Hanowski with a long pass down the middle to send Hanowski in on a breakaway that he scored on for a 2-0 lead.
3. SCSU — Dowd 3 (Nick Jensen, Joey Holka) 15:22.
Jensen skated the puck out of the SCSU zone, crossed the Mavericks’ blue line, got past a defenseman and into the corner. He passed it out front to Holka, who quickly passed it across the slot to Dowd, who one-timed it in for a 3-0 lead.

LeBlanc took the puck off the boards to Phil Cook’s left, stick-handled around one defender, got past another, flipped it across the slot to Kossila, who had a lot of net to shoot at to make it 4-0.
5. MSU-M — Evan Mosey 1 (Grant, Brett Knowles) 8:53.
The Mavericks got the puck into the zone and Mosey ended up with the puck in the faceoff circle to Ryan Faragher’s left and scored on a high wrist shot from the faceoff dot.
6. SCSU — LeBlanc 2 (Kossila, Prow) 19:12.
Pretty give-and-go play with LeBlanc carrying it into the corner, leaving it for Kossila. LeBlanc went to the net and Kossila got him the puck back and he scored after carrying it across the slot.
