SCSU back in AFCA Top 25; Mankato is new No. 1

The St. Cloud State football team is back in the AFCA Top 25 poll this week after a 55-6 win over Minnesota-Crookston last Saturday at Husky Stadium.

The Huskies (5-1) got as high as No. 18 before losing to No. 9 UMD on Oct. 5.

MSU-Mankato is your new No. 1. It’s the first time that the Mavericks (6-0) have reached that height in their program’s history. Congrats to Mankato.

The Mavericks moved up thanks to No. 1 Valdosta’s State loss to No. 8 West Alabama last Thursday. Valdosta fell all the way down to No. 12 this week.
