SCSU men’s basketball ranked 10th in first Central Region poll

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team was ranked 10th in the first Division II Central Region men’s basketball poll of the season that was released Wednesday afternoon.

The Huskies have a 14-7 record against Division II teams and a 14-7 mark against the region.

The region is made up of the NSIC, MIAA and Great American Conference. The top eight teams in the final poll make the tournament, which will be held at the highest seed’s venue.

The region tournament takes place on March 15-16 and 18. Automatic bids are granted to each conference’s tournament winners. The selection show is at 9:30 p.m. on March 9.
