About the Huskies: Senior forward Theo Rothstein is closing in on the 1,000-point mark for his career. He has 979 points coming into tonight’s game. Rothstein has scored in double figures in every game except one this season. Rothstein would be the 35th player in SCSU history to cross the 1,000-point barrier. SCSU leads all of D-II in fewest turnovers per game (10.1). The Huskies are No. 1 in the NSIC in scoring offense at 77.5 points per game. SCSU gets Augustana (10-4, 14-4) at 6 p.m. Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Vikings are on a four-game winning streak, which includes a win at No. 7 MSU-Mankato last Saturday. SCSU has won six of its last seven, including three in a row since losing to Mankato at home. Rothstein leads the Huskies with 16.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Shaun Jensen is averaging 14.2 points per game. Cameron McCaffrey leds Augie with 20.6 points per game.

About the Wildcats: Wayne has the No. 1 defense in the NSIC, giving up 62.1 points per game. The Wildcats struggle on the offensive end, scoring 66.2 points a game (11th in NSIC). Point guard Amry Shelby leads the Wildcats in scoring at 12.7 points a game.
