SJU Thursday practice update

Just one practice for the Johnnies today and it ran for two hours this afternoon at a mostly gray and sometimes rainy (lightly) Clemens Stadium.

The offense and defense broke down into seperate units for the first time with each working against the scout team.

There was good news on the injury front. Starting tackle Jack Hedlund was out of his sling and said an examination Wednesday showed he did not have a fractured elbow/collarbone, just a bruise. He hopes to be back on the field within days.

It’s two practices Friday: At 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
