St. Benedict 42, Hamline 34 (H)

Halftime at Claire Lynch Hall where St. Benedict leads by eight.

Hamline jumped out to an early 8-2 lead, but an 11-0 by the Blazers game them a lead they have not relinquished, though the Pipers did cut the gap to 26-25 on a basket by Steph Pilgrim.

Whitney Canton and Hannah Hylla led St. Benedict with seven points each in the first half.  Morgan Dale added six.

The Blazers were 12-for-20 at the free throw line (at one point they were 2-for-7) and Hamline was just 2-for-6. St. Benedict outrebounded the Pipers 22-18.

Both teams were a matching 13-for-29 (44.8 percent) from the field.
