End of the third quarter at Laird Stadium where the Johnnies have regained the momentum after falling behind early in the second half.
Carleton began the second half marching 78 yards to score on a 16-yard touchdown catch by Chase Gottschalk. The extra point failed, but it left the Knights on top 13-10.
But from there, St. John’s picked up the pace, retaking the lead on a 37-yard touchdown pass from Nick Martin to Rob Voshell. Then Nick Martin scored on a 13-yard touchdown run and the Johnnies went up by 10.
Andrew Rose briefly left the game near the end of the third quarter. But the Johnnies starting linebacker returned a play later.
And after leaving with an ankle injury in the first half, RB Jakob Certeza was back to start the second half.
