The story behind the story of the new Willmar AD

Rand Middleton of the West Central Tribune in Willmar gets the story behind the story of the new activities director hiring at Willmar High School.

Lori (Roufs) Hanson, a Willmar grad married to Tim Hanson, another Willmar grad, turned down the job because of health issues for their 5-year-old son Wyatt. It turns out Wyatt is going to be OK, but Willmar’s No. 2 choice, Ryan Blahosky, is taking the job.

Wyatt has an enlarged spleen, Middleton’s story reported.

Lori Roufs was an all-everything athlete at Willmar who played four years of basketball at North Dakota State.
